Tech for Impact:
Learn STEM + Entrepreneurial Thinking to Create Real Social Impact
WomenX Biotech, in partnership with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), is launching the 4 Days Tech for Impact: STEM Entrepreneurial Stewardship Experience Camp. This camp is specially designed for students aged 15 and above, offering an intensive experience in biotechnology and social innovation.
Students will conduct experiments at the Science Park, learn how current technology companies operate, and acquire problem-solving mindsets from entrepreneurs. In addition to mastering STEM knowledge, the programme emphasises product safety testing and how to apply knowledge to solve social needs.
Students who complete the programme will receive a joint certificate issued by WomenX Biotech and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP).
How to Register:
- Pay a HK$980 deposit online (fully refundable if you decide not to join).
- You will receive an email notification inviting you to attend an online briefing webinar.
- After attending the webinar, complete the remaining payment via FPS or cheque to successfully confirm your registration.

2. Cultivating Entrepreneurial Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Leadership Skills Through entrepreneurship training and teamwork, students will not only learn technical skills but also gain experience in leadership, project management, and creating meaningful social impact.
What is the Camp like?
Through experiential learning, the programme helps students develop the following core competencies:
- 🧪 Product Safety & Laboratory Testing: Learn rigorous laboratory procedures to ensure products are safe and reliable.
- 🧪 Learning from Entrepreneurs: Understand the full process from problem identification and solution development to market implementation, fostering a social entrepreneurial spirit.
- 🧪 Social Impact: Using technology as a tool to create genuine positive social impact.
Who is the Camp suitable for?
This programme is ideal for students aged 15 and above who are interested in STEM, social innovation, entrepreneurship, and topics related to gender health equality, and who wish to create positive social impact through technology.
Experience Camp Includes:
- Career sharing sessions
- Laboratory tour and usage guidelines
- Introduction to laboratory equipment and tools
- Biomedical experiments: Migration fluorescence, formaldehyde and bacterial content testing, etc.
- Gender health-related bacterial testing (for both boys and girls)
- Making your own DNA necklace!
