PantylinerX is a pantyliner that measures the pH value of vaginal discharge, indicating the risk of vaginal inflammation. It contains a layer extracted from natural plants for pH testing.
If vaginal discharge is absorbed onto the testing layer and appears purple, it indicates that the pH value of the discharge is higher than normal, and the user has a 70% chance of having bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis increases the risk of women contracting sexually transmitted infections. This innovative, non-invasive, and simple testing method can effectively and quickly help women assess their vaginal health, seek early treatment, and avoid more serious consequences.

運作原理/The Science:
細菌性陰道炎乃陰道細菌失衡所導致，陰道分泌物酸鹼值改變為常見症狀。
Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a vaginal infection caused by an overgrowth of bacteria. Most of the cases are asymptomatic. The only symptom is the change in the pH of the vaginal discharge.
健康陰道分泌物酸鹼值介乎3.8至4.5，當其酸鹼值高於4.5，有機會患上細菌性陰道炎。本產品的指示芯片由粉紅轉為紫色/藍色時(pH>4.5)，顯示有風險患上細菌性陰道炎。
The pH of the healthy vaginal discharge is between 3.8 to 4.5. When the pH of the vaginal discharge is >4.5, there is a risk of experiencing BV. If the colour chip of PantylinerX changes from pink to blue (pH>4.5), you have a risk of having BV.
